Delete Your Account
How to permanently delete your Gleegleam account and everything tied to it.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest, immediate)
- Open Gleegleam and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and everything below is deleted immediately — this cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Without the app (e.g. you no longer have it installed)
Email support@gleegleam.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account. We'll verify and process your request within 30 days.

Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile, login, and authentication records
- Every journal entry you've written, including its photos and comments
- Your goals and goal progress
- Your circle memberships
- Notifications, blocks, and reports you've filed
- Your subscription record in our database
If you own a Circle, deleting your account deletes that Circle — and every post shared in it — for all members, not just your own content. If you'd like to keep a Circle running, ask another member to recreate it before deleting your account.
What isn't covered by this
- Apple/Google billing records: Subscription and purchase history is retained by Apple or Google under their own policies. To remove that, contact Apple or Google Support directly — we don't have the ability to delete it on your behalf.
- Facebook login: If you signed in with Facebook, also remove Gleegleam from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites to revoke that connection.
